Here is the link, fantastic photos there too:

Orange Crate Art: Positively Naked City
Jersey Mikehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03971745484768920799noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8882638685808679793.post-65484686951260267962018-10-28T18:38:41.956-07:002018-10-28T18:38:41.956-07:00On review, I see the captions, as you have them, r...On review, I see the captions, as you have them, refer to the person above the captions. My bad. And the photo does bear a resemblance to Woodrow Parfrey, the noted character actor. But you have the same photo ID ed as Lawrence Tierney, a certified hood and rumored murderer. Regardless, I enjoy your site and thank you for the work you put into it. Gary, you did a A-one job describing Naked City here.Jersey Mikehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03971745484768920799noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8882638685808679793.post-21240510221238616242018-10-27T22:01:05.104-07:002018-10-27T22:01:05.104-07:00If that's a photo of George Maharis then I'...If that's a photo of George Maharis then I'm Martin Miner! Maharis was a tough NYC native who could hold his own working on the docks. Frankly the wimp in the photo looks more like a good wind would push him over. I like the first season very much, although McMahon isn't very good at first as Parker and is even dropped from the cast the last couple of episodes...I was surprised he came back in the re-boot. I just saw the first episode of the fourth season which has Burgess Meredith as an alcoholic Greenwich Village poet clearly based on Maxwell Bodenheim (see my Heller story, "Kisses of Death"). It also features legendary acting coach Sandy Meisner in a very rare in front of the camera stint, the wonderful Eileen Heckert, a very young Alan Alda and an also very young and stunning Jessica Walter. As for relevance, another episode from early in the fourth season ("introducing Sandy Dennis") is about a homicidal celebrity stalker...in 1962. Much as I like James Franciscus in the first season, I have to admit that Paul Burke did a terrific job in the later ones -- he has a nice way of underplaying while the New York actors chew the scenery around him. Does anyone know if Lawrence Dobkins is doing the first season narration, despite introducing himself as the producer, Bert Leonard? Dobkins did the second through fourth seasons, and the voiceover really sounds the same to me.
Max Allan Collinshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00867456003618637948noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8882638685808679793.post-15815394201380465502014-02-04T09:00:36.848-08:002014-02-04T09:00:36.848-08:00I've been wanting to watch some of this one, i...I've been wanting to watch some of this one, it's on Netflix.Rick Robinsonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07978136287154214297noreply@blogger.com
