He Was a God Before Anachronism

At an estate sale I found this little outdoor garden cart and instantly knew it would make a great substrate to do an assemblage on. 

This little piece of wood had the spaces and added features that made it shrine like.

When I found this little guy he had the supplication form that I was looking for.

I love these little milagros that I buy when I am in Oaxaca, Mexico

I put together a garden cultivator and a brass jewelry head I had to build the shrine.

This is what the cart looks sitting forward but it is not its final orientation.

Thus we have He Was a Good Before Anachronism. The title comes from a poem by A. E. Stallings called The Rosehead Nail. It is 16" X 11"W X 15"D.
