Graceland Tour of the South: Day 5: Graceland and Beale Street

Today is Graceland, the home of Elvis Presley.  I had no idea what to expect today but the day ended up being full of doing silly tourist stuff in an amusement park surrounding a dead rock and roll idol house.  Yup, that sums it up and I loved every minute of it.

We could live here as Graceland is really not much of mansion by today's standards.

Late that day we went over to the Peabody Hotel to check in  We were in time to see the famed Peabody Ducks.  Everyday a delegation from the hotel leads the ducks from their roost on the roof down an elevator to the fountain in the lobby of the hotel.  Then, at the end of the day, a delegation leads them back onto the elevator and up to the roost.

Next up was Beale Street where we spent our night in B. B. King's Blues Club.

The opening act each night at B. B. King's is a young fine guitarist named Will Tucker.

After dinner and the music we hit Beale Street.

We went for a ride in a princess chariot.
