The Fourth of JulyMilwaukee, WI2019
On the 3rd of July we rented a table on top of the War Memorial on the Lake Michigan shoreline for us and eight of our close friends to watch the fireworks. We got there for a picnic dinner at 6:00 p.m. and watched the fog roll in.
The fireworks were scheduled to start at 9:30 p.m. but started 15 minutes late because of the fog.
Then, to our disappointment, a thick fog rolled in, so thick that despite the fact that the fireworks were being shot off a barge about 100 yards in front of us, we could not see a dang thing, We just ended up listening to the grand finale.
The morning of the 4th, Denice and I went to the Bay View area for the Humboldt Park Parade.
Next of the Fourth was the Holz Chevrolet Car Show.
With our friends Bill and Sue, we went to Alcott Park near are house for the fireworks.
Happy Fourth of July, everyone.
