Bunny Boy

BUNNY BOY

I got this idea to take an old cabinet card photo and alter it into the freak show poster of a sideshow act that never worked.

I started with a photo of a man from my collection of cabinet cards that was set at a upright angle within the bordering frame. I altered this to make him Bunny Boy--figuring anyone who paid money to see him would have not got their money's worth of freak show terror.

 From my stash in my basement I found a wood serving dish and a wood ash tray that I combined into his stage.

Because of the theme I painted this up with Easter colors and that is where I think my idea of what this was went kind of sideways.

However, it is the Easter season, so thus we have...BUNNY BOY.
