Same process this morning for packing our lunch and eating our breakfast before we mounted the bus at 7:45 a.m.
Today our first stop is Sentinel Dome. This is what it looks like from ground zero.
Half Dome
We made an ascend that was more than challenging for me because of the steep angle.
Ansel Adams visited Sentinel Dome in 1940 and took this photograph.
This is all that is left of the tree today. I took my time on Sentinel Dome to do a study of the remains.

Sentinel Dome offered other things to take photos of as well.

Lunch was at the Glacier Point. There was still good views of the park.
After lunch we went to the Mariposa Grove.
These are baby giant sequoias. Given another 1,000 years they will be giant trees too.

Dinner was in Lyles Dining Hall. After dinner we had a presentation by the founder and owner of Nature of Wildworks (https://www.natureofwildworks.org) which is a wildlife care center that houses wild animals in needs or those who were pets and now cannot live in the wild. We first saw a snake, red-tailed hawk, barn owl and Canadian lynx.
